Unit 11. The Role of the Error
I think that this topic provided me how mistakes can play an important function
during the learning process. Also, error can be developed in an experiment part
with the success of communicate.
Firstly, when children start to develop into the
communicative process through the learning they make grammatical errors, in this period Teachers should teach simple language
structures before complex ones. In order to give the adequate confidence to
follow future patterns in the communicative part, then Learners’ errors should be corrected with the grammar
use in any structure according to the role of the error in the language, this
is important for get a future accuracy.
Secondly,
another part in the learning process are slips, they appear or take place when learners feel tired, worried or show
a kind of insecurity feeling , also they
show an inadequate way of inaccuracy
thoughts. On another hand as a teacher
we need to manage with the Interference of the mother tongue, in the way of look for the correct terms to express
in a second language, and the use of demanded vocabulary in an unconscious way.
This is considering a difficult part into learning a language, because is the
moment to appear the developmental error
in the conversation with the overgeneralization
and fossilization
into the communicative adopting form of the linguistic process.
In conclusion, for teacher is important to improve the
manage of lessons in the classroom, they are proficient to use a lot of activities
in the classroom with the objective of get that learners can develop constant
interaction and they can act in a perfect way, reformulation and the use of
vocabulary is also an
important point that educators and learners need to consider in a language
class. One of the common errors that students keep on doing is the habit of
using the same words or phrases all the time due to lack of ideas, and this is
part of the error, but as a teacher we need to be sure that the error can be manage
in a truthful form.
